About Cathy Buday
Cathy Buday is Buday Thought Leadership Partners’ Editor in Chief. Â She has been helping thought leaders bring their expertise to market in such publications as Harvard Business Review and Forbes for more than 10 years. She has worked with authorities such as Hank Cardello (Hudson Institute), Roger Jones (Vantage Hill Partners), inventor Dean Kamen, and LinkedIn cofounder Konstantin Guericke to publish their ideas.Â
One of Cathy’s dearest clients is the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. She has been managing editor of the school’s online academic journals, Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange and FamilyBusiness.org, since 2014. This pioneering platform was launched in 2014 by TexasTech business professor James Wetherbe from funding by the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation. EIX and FamilyBusiness.org have since become a major online resource for entrepreneurs, family firms, students, and professors, generating more than 23 million page views annually.Â
Cathy’s specialty is working with thought leaders, academics, researchers and others to find the nuggets of inspiration within a rubble of dry but important concepts, and identifying the meaningful takeaways for a broader audience. Prior to working in thought leadership, she had decades of experience in journalism, corporate communication, speechwriting, and ghostwriting.Â
