About Cathy Buday

Cathy Buday has been helping thought leaders bring their expertise to market in such publications as Harvard Business Review and Forbes for more than 10 years. She has worked with authorities such as Hank Cardello (Hudson Institute), Roger Jones (Vantage Hill Partners), inventor Dean Kamen, and LinkedIn cofounder Konstantin Guericke to publish their ideas.

One of Cathy’s dearest clients is the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. She is managing editor of the school’s online academic journal, Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange. This pioneering journal was launched in 2014 by TexasTech business professor James Wetherbe from funding by the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation. EIX has since become a major online resource for entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship students, and professors, generating more than 1 million unique visitors annually.

She specializes in finding the nuggets of inspiration within a rubble of dry but important concepts. Cathy identifies the meaningful takeaways from a thicket of ideas for a broader audience. Prior to working in thought leadership, she had decades of experience in journalism, corporate communication, speechwriting and ghostwriting.

Cathy and Bob Buday have also been a husband and wife team since 1998. Their collaboration has included raising six children, caring for numerous pets, and staying in the lives of numerous treasured friends and relatives. Â
